Associate Professor of the Bachelor's Degree in Applied Foreign Languages - Multilingualism and Information Society (LEA-MSI) of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation (LET), linked to the Institute of Letters (IL) of the University of Brasília (UnB). Thiago teaches English, corpora studies, and automated treatment of natural languages. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Management from the Postgraduate Program in Information Science (PPGCinf), of the University of Brasília, with interest in the areas of Information and Knowledge Organization, Computational Linguistics (Machine Translation), and Multimodality. He also holds a Master's Degree in English and Literature from the Postgraduate Program in English (PPGI) of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, focusing on Textual Analysis at the interface of Corpus-based Translation Studies and Systemic-Functional Linguistics.
